It used to be that if you were qualified for a job advertised in the newspaper, and if you mailed your resume to the company, there was a good chance that somebody would call you to schedule an interview. Those days are long gone, but not for the reasons you might think.
In this course, you'll learn the major reasons that emailing your resume so often feels like you're sending it into a black hole. There are a few ways to improve your odds - which we'll cover - but you also need to look at the other crucial part of any job search: networking. We'll teach you some effective how-to's and some important how-not-to's, so that you can find the right people as quickly as possible.
